Standards Compliance

Strangely enough, not all web browsers are created equal. Not all browsers will display the same information the same way on all computers.

Some browsers (like Internet Explorer) have "special" codes that only work in their browser or they display the same code differently than "good" browsers do, rather than conforming to standards outlined by the World Wide Web Consortium.

While it would be nice for all browsers to process the same code the same way, we undertake the sometimes tricky task of coding and testing for all fairly common browsers (and some uncommon ones).

By not handeling this issue properly, 30% or more of your web traffic may not get a true representation of your site. It's not an extremely difficult task but we believe it is very imporant.

Site Architecture

We endeavour to design sites that are fast loading and scalable. So, if you want to expand the site by adding sections or links as your company grows, you will have little trouble and little or no added expense.

Not everyone gets high speed downloads and internal company networks share connections which slows down traffic. We design "lightweight code" and grapical elements that are high impact and low bandwidth because there's nothing worse than making a client wait.

In cases where your content must be updated fairly regulary, we try to make content management as easy as possible based on the resources available.

Visual Style

Visually, we try to create a look and feel that is easily navigated by your clients and pleasant to look at. Custom graphics and visual elements are used according to the purpose of the site, your message, and your image.
